May 6 - 10, 2024
Important - Our field trip to Telus Spark is on Tuesday, May 14th. Please send only a lunch kit (with a couple of snacks, lunch and any cutlery they may need to use), water bottle and a change of clothes. It is also important to dress according to the weather as we will be outside for a little bit of time. The forecast for Tuesday is cloudy with a high of 17 degrees. However, the weather can change so I encourage you to keep an eye on it.
Our learning in English Language Arts:
- We have been learning how to ask questions when thinking about new animals. We looked at a picture of an Axolotl and wondered about some things! Many of us wondered how it breathed underwater, how it walks or swims, how it sees underwater, and what it eats!
- We are going to be using this knowledge to start researching a new animal next week.
Our learning in Math:
- We have been learning about graphing and statistics. We have been learning about concrete graphs. This is when we use a concrete item to graph with. We used books to do this and sorted by them into groups. Ask me what categories I sorted the books into!
We made some art for our wonderful moms! We hope that you have an amazing day on Mother's Day!
