We will be transitioning from a daily agenda blog to a weekly agenda blog starting next week. This once a week entry will be posted on Fridays and will contain:
- highlights (with pictures) to provide information about what was learned during the week in Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
- tips for what students should continue to work on at home (when it is applicable)
- important reminders for the coming week
We would like all families to take time each weekend to talk about the week, discuss new learning and check in with students about what is needed for the coming week.
Any other important information will be sent out via SchoolMessenger emails. Please continue to check the School Website for Mrs. Brinson's weekly Northern Lights News as it has additional important information that families need.
Today we:
- Had a compliment circle because today is National Compliment Day! It is so nice to hear everyone's kind words to their classmates.
- Played outside in the fresh snow!
- Enjoyed reading with our Grade 4 Buddies.
- Worked on some artwork around our social studies learning: courage! We learned that in Indigenous cultures, the bear represents courage.
- We had Freedom Frenzy in Phys Ed and worked on our hockey skills.
